About The Position

The primary responsibilities of the Contract Administrator are to receive and review contracts, liaison between Sales & Legal teams and supporting the other members of the Finance team. This is a regional Shared Services position. Review all contracts and payment schedules received from Builders and Sales, compare to internal bids for accuracy. Prepare documents to submit to Legal department for review, revision, and final execution. Secure certificates of insurance and business licenses as needed. Maintain records of Subcontractor insurance. Assist with daily Shared Services Department reporting as needed and during month end process.

Requirements

  • Two-year certificate from college or technical school in business related field.
  • Construction experience helpful.
  • Strong technology skills, including MS Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and aptitude in working with numbers.
  • Professional-level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate agreements between parties.
  • Ability to interpret and act on financial documentation.
  • High level organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve problems.
  • Ability to take ownership of responsibilities.
