The Contracts Administrator III will provide essential support to the Contracts Director and Senior Program Manager, focusing on the evaluation, analysis, and administration of prime contract agreements. This role involves overseeing contract performance from inception to completion, particularly for major government contracts, and requires proficiency in Deltek CostPoint.

  • Support the Contracts Team in the proposal and negotiation phase of new contract awards.
  • Administer contract set-up in Deltek CostPoint.
  • Review, interpret, and distribute contract awards and modifications.
  • Assist Program Managers and Project Control Analysts in monitoring and reporting project cost and status.
  • Track, review, and submit Contract Deliverable Requirements (CDRL's).
  • Review and execute NDA's, Teaming Agreements, and Consulting Agreements.
  • Advise Subcontracts team on government Statement of Work and Prime contract terms and conditions.
  • Provide contract guidance and interpretation to team members, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate contract issues, taking actions for resolution.
  • Gather data and prepare reports for managerial decision making regarding contractual provisions.
  • Maintain contract files according to organizational processes and procedures.
  • Prepare contract files and electronic documents.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Research and resolve contract issues, including older contracts and payment concerns.
  • Assist in creating and streamlining departmental processes and workflows.
  • Train team members in departmental processes and procedures as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 6-8 years of progressive experience in contract administration, focusing on federal government/military contracting.
  • In-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARS, SCA, and DCAA compliance.
  • Preferred experience with Deltek CostPoint (Contracts Module, Sales Order Module, Dashboards, Reporting).
  • Strong knowledge of federal government contract types and their appropriate use.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with irregular hours.
  • Experience with SharePoint is required.
  • Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to critical details.
  • Air Force Contracting and Customer Relationship experience preferred.
