About The Position

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking contractor teams to join their expansive final mile service provider network. These teams will be responsible for contracting to deliver and install various furniture and home goods, including treadmills, ellipticals, ready-to-assemble furniture, playsets, pergolas, gazebos, in-ground basketball hoops, and similar products. Contractors will be offered all types of work and can choose which orders to accept. Settlements are processed weekly, with potential earnings ranging from $40,000 to $100,000+ depending on location and accepted work.

Requirements

• Own or lease a truck or van
• Must have an EIN
• DOT Required
• For larger trucks, MC#-Auth for hire/Interstate only
• Certificate of Insurance according to AIT Worldwide Logistics requirements
• Two-man delivery team (Driver + Helper)
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Physically able and skilled to deliver and assemble products
• Tech savvy to use mobile applications to complete orders
• Pass criminal background checks and drug screens for all owners, drivers and helpers

Responsibilities

• Arrive at customers home and build existing product (Assembly Only orders)
• Pick up at local retailer and deliver according to client instructions on order (Delivery Only orders)
• Pick up items at a local retailer, deliver and assemble in customers homes (Delivery and Assembly orders)
• Deliver and assemble products according to manufacturer's specifications
• Use mobile applications to complete orders
• Provide and maintain tools and vehicle(s) used to complete orders
