About The Position

The Video Producer & Editor [Contractor] reports to the Creative Director (Marketing) and leads the creation of compelling video content that supports the marketing team's brand and audience engagement goals. This in-house role combines video production, editing, and videography, working closely and supporting multiple cross-functional teams including Platforms, Advertising, and Editorial.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience in creative production including animation, motion graphics, cinematography, and camera operation.
  • Strong skills in field production, including producing, field producing, scriptwriting, shoot logistics, and talent direction.
  • Ability to manage crew, lighting, audio setup, and gear maintenance effectively.
  • Experience with various content formats such as short-form/long-form video, social media video, event recaps, advertising spots, and branded storytelling.
  • Strategic insight into advertising video strategy and social media video production.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Creative Director and broader Marketing team to develop and execute high-quality video content for a variety of channels and initiatives, including campaigns, events, customer engagement, and digital platforms (e.g., email, website, and social media).
  • Ideate, produce, and edit video content that supports marketing strategies across all channels, including regional efforts, brand initiatives, newsroom content, sub-brands, and product launches.
  • Oversee the full video production process-from pre-production planning and logistics to shooting, editing, and final delivery.
  • Produce and edit video content and photography for external events as needed capturing and repurposing footage for marketing use, including subscriber retention efforts and both organic and paid social media campaigns.
  • Partner with editorial and content teams to bring editorial stories to life through video content tied to marketing goals and initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Platforms team to execute platform-native video content, optimize for each channel, and contribute to social video strategy.
  • Manage video equipment, organize and lead field shoots, and direct on-camera talent and production crews as needed.
