Lead the Sparq QA Automation team for the project, collaborating closely with client QA and engineering teams to establish Cypress-based testing strategies and ensure consistent automation practices across environments. Review requirements and participate in architecture, design, and code reviews with a focus on scalable Cypress automation frameworks, code quality, and adherence to best practices. Evaluate and recommend solutions and supporting tools that best meet client and project needs, presenting optimal options for cross-browser and end-to-end test coverage. Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites primarily using Cypress, while integrating with complementary tools such as Postman, JMeter, and BrowserStack. Implement robust Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines integrating Cypress tests within cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and containerized frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes). Build and evolve reusable Cypress frameworks and supporting libraries to ensure scalability, maintainability, and reusability across multiple applications—including both web and mobile testing where applicable. Monitor, triage, and maintain automated test results—identifying true defects versus test instability—and continuously improving test reliability and execution performance. Partner with developers to debug issues uncovered during Cypress test runs, providing detailed root-cause analysis and supporting faster resolution cycles. Document and manage test cases within a test management system, ensuring clear traceability between Cypress test scripts, requirements, and defect tracking.
