Position Overview: The Contractor Sales Manager is responsible for leading revenue growth with HomeServe’s third-party contractor network by growing and optimizing the contractor referral program and new/existing contractor benefit rebate programs. This role ensures that third-party contractors are effectively incentivized to refer HomeServe repair plans while maintaining an exceptional customer experience. The Manager is also responsible for developing the systems, dashboards, and metrics necessary to track referral performance and rebate growth, providing the leadership required to improve performance and meet specific growth targets on an annual basis. This role will report to the Director, Contractor Recruiting, Sales & Administration.

Requirements

  • 5 - 8 years of progressive sales and operational leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience deploying strong sales strategies to a national network.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills and ability to team members and third-party contractors.
  • Strong planning, problem solving, project management, negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Highly organized, process focused, and able to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present, influence and manage stakeholder interests at all levels of management.
  • Experience in using and managing sales processes using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel & PowerPoint.
  • The job requires up to 40% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Referral Growth: Oversee the end-to-end performance of the contractor referral sales channel, ensuring revenue targets are met through strategic engagement.
  • Rebate Performance: Manage and optimize contractor benefit participation and rebate growth, while analyzing performance data to ensure Onboarding Specialists are driving the desired sales behaviors.
  • Contractor Incentives: Oversee referral fee structures and benefit tiers to ensure third-party contractors are compensated timely and appropriately in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Stakeholder Support: Support the Contractor Management team with growing the programs through the distribution of marketing materials, webinars, on-site training, and any other appropriate means.
  • Contractor Relations: Drive deep relationships with contractor partners, regional operations management and the recruiting/onboarding team to expand the referral network and grow plan sales.
  • Product Voice: Participate in new product roadmap discussions to ensure offerings align with what contractors are motivated to refer, and that the customer journey is optimized to eliminate friction points.
  • Dashboards & Metrics: Own the referral sales and rebate performance dashboards for Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), highlighting referral conversion rates and rebate utilization.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop multi-year strategies to significantly scale the referral network and benefit programs.
  • Market Dynamics: Maintain an expert understanding of contractor profiles, sales profiles, and performance trending to grow all aspects of the referral and benefit programs.
  • Referral & Rebate Oversight: Managing referral sales activation and participation rates, auditing rebate eligibility, and optimizing performance.
  • Field Engagement: Supporting Regional Operations Managers (ROM) and third-party contractors with webinars, on-site training, marketing material, and program communications to grow revenue and achieve annual growth targets.
  • Strategic Planning & Analytics: Developing long-term growth strategies, financial forecasting, and managing the rebate dashboards and performance reporting.
  • Operational Reporting: Developing and maintaining dashboards; conducting monthly business reviews with executive leadership.
