About The Position

KBR's National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country's most critical role - protecting our national security. The successful candidate for the Test Resource Management Center will be part of the KBR Cybersecurity team supporting the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) Program Security Office. This member will provide comprehensive security guidance to the Program Security Office and Cybersecurity Team. This position is not remote and is in Alexandria VA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Security, Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years experience.
• Must have a Subject Matter Expert (SME) level of understanding of industrial security regulations and procedures.
• Experience administering provisions of the 32 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 117 NISPOM, DOD 5205.07 Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in SAP programs.
• Proven track record of effective communication skills to include verbal and written; tact and diplomacy is key.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as make significant contributions in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree: A master's degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
• Successful completion of the CDSE SAP Mid-Level Management Course is preferred or must be able to successfully complete within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Write Standard Security Operating Procedures (SOPs), security plans and other security documentation.
• Assist the Program Security Officer in providing all aspects of security support services such as Personnel Security (PERSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), Security Education and Training (SETA), Access Control, Media Control, Construction Security Management.
• Assist in administering the SAP Nomination Process by processing, logging, and preparing incoming and outgoing SAP Nomination packages.
• Conduct annual SETA requirements in conjunction with the program off sites; provide security indoctrination, debriefings, pre/post Travel briefings and annual refresher briefings as necessary.
• Manage classified document control including maintenance of logs tracking documents in transition.
• Investigate security violations and submit required reports to the government.
• Organize and file all administrative program security paperwork.
• Assist the government with physical security and provide security escorting for uncleared personnel as required.
• Conduct self-inspections; manage preparations for and representation of security inspections and audits by government security personnel.
• Assist the Lead Program Security Officer with additional security support as required by the RMS Advanced Programs Manager and the local Customer.
