About The Position

General Dynamics Mission Systems is seeking a full-time, dedicated and experienced CPSO / FSO / ITPSO to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in CPSO/FSO security management, possess a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and demonstrate a thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures. This position involves developing, implementing, supervising, and maintaining a robust security program to protect information and operations commensurate with the level of classification of the program, e.g., collateral, SCI, SAP, or multi-level.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration of Justice, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or related field or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
  • Active TS/SCI with poly CPSO experience.
  • SAP/SCI facility experience.
  • Proficiency with DISS, Scattered Castles, NBIS and SIMS.
  • Proven leadership ability and excellent communication skills.
  • FSO Certification for Possessing Facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Experience with Scattered Castles, DISS, NBIS and SIMS.
  • Responsible for developing, implementing, supervising, and maintaining a robust security program.
  • Prepare and maintain accreditation documentation for the facility under his/her cognizance.
  • Perform aspects of personnel security including nomination interviews and validation of access requirements.
  • Properly account for, control, transmit, package, and safeguard COMESEC information.
  • Process and maintain employee clearances, access credentials, visit certifications, badges, access control, document control, briefings, debriefings, security database records, and onboarding processes.
  • Manage and ensure the security of classified programs, including personnel, information, and physical security.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard personnel, facilities, and information.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with government customers and internal teams.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to defense contractors to maintain security integrity.
  • Lead the preparation and successful completion of security inspections and audits.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with government and company security policies.
  • Ensure compliance with Facility Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
  • Provide guidance on physical security, industrial security, and contractor clearance processes.
  • Prepare DD 254s.
  • Collaborate on security education, awareness, and training programs.
  • Investigate and track security incidents while implementing corrective measures.
  • Lead special projects as assigned to enhance security operations.
