Reporting to the Manager of Retail & Merchandise, the Contractor – Merchandise Fulfillment supports daily retail and e-commerce operations with a primary focus on order fulfillment, inventory management, and customer service. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate, timely delivery of merchandise and maintaining organized fulfillment and inventory systems.

Requirements

  • Studying for Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations or related field)
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative without being asked
  • Flexibility to work extended weekday hours as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work within these days and hours Monday – Friday - 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Specific shift times would be agreed upon with the Manager of Retail & Merchandise
  • Hours per week are estimated at 10-12
  • Flexible on when these shifts could be worked
  • Opportunity for additional hours supporting event weekends, if interested

Responsibilities

  • Manage the order fulfillment process from start to finish
  • Accurately pull, pack, and ship orders
  • Ensure all orders are properly packed, labeled, and securely sealed prior to shipment
  • Execute daily fulfillment operations to meet volume demands and turnaround expectations
  • Communicate inventory needs and report out-of-stock items to management
  • Print, organize, and track orders
  • Update fulfillment statuses as needed
  • Maintain accurate customer and order notes
  • Assist with biannual inventory counts
  • Organize products and pack inventory for transport
  • Ensure accurate counts and proper labeling prior to loading
  • Record and report damaged items and inventory discrepancies
  • Maintain clean, organized fulfillment and storage areas
  • Unload inventory from trucks and return items to the warehouse
  • Recount, reconcile, and reorganize inventory following events
  • Provide product recommendations based on customer needs, fit, and intended use
  • Answer customer questions related to products, pricing, and availability
  • Handle point-of-sale interactions accurately and efficiently when supporting retail operations
