About The Position

Assists the Contract Officer in managing and tracking short-term and event-related security contracts. Develops job scope with new clients, prepares service agreements, and communicates new service to operations and scheduling. This position is dynamic and may involve other tasks focusing on operational support and implementing guidelines for a quality management system in support of the mission, vision, and values of our company. This position will be scheduled 4X10's Sunday through Wednesday.

Requirements

  • End state focused.
  • Attention to detail – ability to self-proof, format consistently, visually present data in a professional manner.
  • 5 years, demonstrated experience or potential that is translatable to contracting, acquisitions, and operations.
  • Outside-the-box thinker – not afraid to employ creative problem-solving and solutions.
  • Excellent writing and communications skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft SharePoint, or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with managers, supervisors, and customers.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and allocate time efficiently.
  • Ability to practice discretion and confidentiality.
  • College degree or demonstrated composition and writing ability.
  • 5 years' experience in background in technical writing, document preparation, or proof-reading background (contracting, acquisitions, legal assistant, insurance or title company experience).
  • Direct experience is not required, but applicants must have the ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast moving, dynamic environment.
  • Good references.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Current Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Typical office setting
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at times.
  • Applicants will be expected to provide or produce an example of professional writing (cover letter or narrative quote) and demonstrate the ability to visually present data via a formatted document with a Word or Excel table.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in new customer intake.
  • Prepare Service Agreements
  • Coordinate new business with operations, scheduling, and accounting.
  • Enter data and create reports, graphs, tables, and forms.
  • Maintain accurate physical and digital file and records.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
