About The Position

PACE LLC is a government contracting firm based in the Washington, DC area, dedicated to providing first-class professional support, leadership, and performance to meet the goals and objectives of its clients. The company is currently seeking a full-time Contracting Support (Basic) position. This role will involve providing a full range of procurement and contracting services in support of the acquisition activities for a United States federal agency, which is a PACE LLC government contracting client.

Requirements

• Greater than 3 years demonstrated experience in contract closeout
• Proficient in simplified acquisition of commercial items
• Must have served as a contracting specialist in a federal government organization
• Brand name justifications
• Entry level contracting skills
• Experience working with a wide range of commodity and service requirements
• Demonstrated skills in fixed price contracts and fixed price variations
• Highly organized and strong time management skills
• Working knowledge of the FAR and its supplements
• Knowledge of all changes of the FAR including the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO)
• US Citizenship
• Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and hold a TS clearance
• Experience with Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Contract Closeout Module, SharePoint, Records Application Management (RMA) or similar federal procurement applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, TEAMS)
• Experience with government contract writing/filing systems
• DAWIA Level II (Contracting) or a Back to Basics Contracting Professional certification or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree containing appropriate focus on business disciplines (accounting, finance, business administration, law, economics, public administration, managerial administration, etc.)

• Manage fixed price contracts and fixed price variations
