The Department of Conservation and Recreation, seeks applicants for a Contracted Student Interns - Environmental Compliance Intern (Unpaid Internship) to perform the following duties: Please submit a cover letter and resume as part of the application process. The Environmental Compliance Intern will support the Office of Natural Resources in reviewing DCR projects statewide to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. The intern will assist with environmental regulatory compliance checks at active construction sites across the state. The intern will gain knowledge in environmental regulations including the Wetlands Protection Act, Massachusetts Endangered Species Act, Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act, and the Aprocess, as well as how to conduct site inspections for regulatory compliance.

  • Reviewing project construction plans
