The Department of Conservation and Recreation, seeks applicants for a Contracted Student Intern - Research Intern, Finance (Unpaid Internship) to perform the following duties: Please submit a cover letter and resume as part of the application process. Position Information: Contracted Student Internship\: Research Intern, Finance Start/End Date\: 7/6/2026 - 8/31/2026 Salary Rate\: $0.00 (UNPAID Internship) Weekly Hours\: 10 hours Number of Openings\: 1 position This internship is unpaid and designed to support students or recent graduates seeking practical experience in the field. Interns may be eligible to earn academic credit through their college or university. General Statement of Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will work closely with the Finance team to support a research project focused on tracking revenue across multiple streams, such as camping fees, donations, and leases.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the DCR CFO and finance staff.
  • Assist in researching and tracking revenue from various sources.
  • Support analysis of financial workflows and processes.
  • Work with Finance and/or other DCR staff to develop final product.
