About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hair Stylist to join our team at Charter Senior Living. As a Hair Stylist in our community, you will provide professional salon services to our residents, enhancing their well-being and human spirit. This role requires not only technical expertise in hair care but also a caring and patient approach to working with elderly individuals. Must have state of GA. Cosmetology license!

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist, preferably in a salon or similar setting.
• Proficiency in a variety of hair care techniques, including cutting, styling, and coloring.
• Empathy and patience in working with elderly individuals, understanding their unique needs and preferences.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Certification or licensure as a Hair Stylist in accordance with state regulations (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide haircuts, styling, and grooming services according to the preferences and needs of each resident.
• Ensure all services are performed with attention to detail and in adherence to sanitary and safety standards.
• Develop relationships with residents to understand their preferences, style choices, and any special considerations.
• Respect and maintain confidentiality regarding resident information and personal preferences.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to schedule appointments and discuss individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and any relevant resident preferences or concerns.
• Document any observations related to resident health or well-being during salon visits.
