About The Position

Contracted Faculty of Practice (Adjunct) are needed to teach online and face-to-face within the Diagnostic Medical Sonography - General concentration at Concordia University, St. Paul. The course areas will include but are not limited to Abdomen, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Vascular. Due to the nature of the DMS course offerings, ongoing applications are accepted for review. Candidates will be contacted for an interview when an appropriate opening becomes available.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2 or more years of professional experience
• Must be registered in Abdomen and Ob/Gyn, Vascular is also preferred
• Teaching experience preferred
• Experience with multiple teaching modalities including online delivery preferred
• Must be organized, able to meet deadlines, and have excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Equipping students to meet student learning outcomes for the course
• Facilitating laboratory, classroom or online discussions
• Assessing student performance
• Preparing students to be successful leaders in diagnostic medical sonography
