With offices in San Francisco (HQ) and Waterloo, Ontario plus a studio in Los Angeles, we are looking to expand our team to support the business. What we are looking for: A contract Technical Sourcer to support the growth of the MasterClass technical organization on a part-time basis (approximately 25 hours per week) . This role will focus on sourcing and engaging top technical talent and partnering closely with recruiters and hiring managers to build strong, diverse pipelines for priority roles.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting, ideally within a fast-growing startup or tech environment
  • Proven experience sourcing for technical roles
  • Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and Greenhouse
  • Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for connecting great people with meaningful work

Responsibilities

  • Source, identify, and engage high-quality candidates for technical roles (e.g., backend, infrastructure, platform, data, and cloud engineering)
  • Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Greenhouse, referrals, and other sourcing methods
  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements, hiring priorities, and ideal candidate profiles
  • Conduct initial outreach to assess candidate interest and baseline qualifications
  • Maintain accurate candidate tracking, activity, and pipeline data in Greenhouse
  • Contribute ideas to improve sourcing strategies, outreach messaging, and the overall candidate experience
