About The Position

CLJ Consulting and Contracting LLC is seeking a qualified Mid-Level Contract Support Specialist to provide acquisition support services. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting federal procurement activities and be proficient in cradle-to-grave acquisition processes.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor’s degree or 24 semester hours in business, finance, law, or related fields
• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in federal acquisition support
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR)

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting VA or other healthcare-related federal contracts
• Familiarity with GSA eBuy and contract writing systems
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Support pre-award and post-award acquisition activities in accordance with FAR, VAAR, and agency policies.
• Conduct market research and assist in the development of acquisition strategies.
• Draft and review solicitations, IGCEs, contract modifications, and other procurement documents.
• Coordinate with Contracting Officers (COs), Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), and technical stakeholders.
• Maintain contract files and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
• Utilize federal acquisition systems such as eCMS, SAM.gov, CPARS, and FPDS-NG.
