About The Position
CLJ Consulting and Contracting LLC is seeking an Entry-Level Contract Support Specialist to assist with federal acquisition support services. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to grow in the federal procurement field.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of federal contracting experience (within the last 5 years)
- 24 semester hours in business, finance, law, or related fields
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and federal systems (e.g., eCMS, SAM.gov)
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- U.S. Citizenship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR)
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting VA or other healthcare-related federal contracts
- Familiarity with GSA eBuy and contract writing systems
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with acquisition documentation and file maintenance
- Conduct basic market research and data entry
- Draft simple procurement documents under supervision
- Support post-award contract administration
- Ensure compliance with federal acquisition policies
