About The Position

Corrpro Companies is looking for a Contract Specialist. This position is a hybrid position based in the St Louis, MO or Houston, TX area. Corrpro is a corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, gas utilities, government agencies, municipal water, wastewater utilities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro is a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions Company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree required with Paralegal Certificate preferred
  • 5 years of experience reviewing construction or other contract documents required
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills and ability to multitask and take initiative to complete tasks without constant direction
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication as well as time management skills
  • Adapt to conflicting deadlines and priorities established by company and bid deadline demands

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the legal team’s primary point of contact for contract review and administration, managing a large volume of agreements annually across oil, gas, energy, nuclear, and municipal water projects.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, operations, finance, and legal teams to support the full contract lifecycle for commercial, construction, and government-related engagements.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including RFQs, RFPs, purchase orders, customer contracts, MSAs, professional services agreements, subcontracts, bid documents, NDAs, teaming agreements, and contracts governed by FAR/DFARS.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual, commercial, and regulatory risks while aligning contract terms with business objectives.
  • Maintain and standardize contract templates, terms and conditions, and related documentation within the company’s contract repository to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Train internal stakeholders on contract provisions, approval requirements, and standard forms to promote compliance and reduce negotiation cycle times.
  • Interface with internal business partners and external clients to support contract preparation, negotiation, and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with internal contract approval processes, policies, and delegated authority requirements across a high-volume contract portfolio.
  • Obtain and manage bonds, insurance certificates, and jurisdictional licenses in support of contractual and operational requirements.
  • Participate in internal and external audits by communicating contract review procedures and supporting assessments of contract management controls.
