About The Position
This position at Amazon Web Services, Inc. is for a Contract Specialist (Sales Operations II) located in San Diego, California. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Operations Research, Legal Studies, Law, or a related field.
- Two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Two years of experience in drafting and reviewing contract terms in Statements of Work (SOW), Work Orders (WO), or other standard related commercial contracts.
- Two years of experience in advanced Excel spreadsheet skills including using Pivot Tables, VLookups, and Charts for data analysis.
- Two years of experience in compliance in the legal industry.
- Domestic and/or international travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate technology contracts, ensuring internal policies are met, ensuring the quality and accuracy of Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) agreements.
- Draft, review, negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives to ensure legal compliance, protect the organization's interests, and foster fair agreements.
- Prepare Statements of Work (SOW), Work Orders (WO), WO-Amendment creation and execution process and review requisitions for goods and services.
- Monitor and follow applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with businesses to negotiate deliverables, finalize due dates for milestones and review the cost for each deliverable and milestone.
- Review and analyze data on partner participation for each contract.
- Review and update Salesforce and ensure data compliance in Salesforce.
- Mentor junior Contract Specialists.
