About The Position

We are seeking a Contract Specialist / Procurement Analyst to provide comprehensive contracting and procurement support in alignment with the terms and conditions of the applicable GSA MAS task order. The individual will work under the guidance, direction, and final approval of the Contracting Officer, supporting acquisition planning, contract administration, modifications, and closeouts. This is a critical role ensuring compliance, efficiency, and high-quality support across the contract lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Completion of 24 semester hours in business-related courses (accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management).
  • A bachelor’s degree in one of these fields meets both the degree and business coursework requirements.
  • FAC-C or equivalent preferred.
  • 5 years Federal Government contracting experience relevant to this position.
  • 5 years construction contracting experience.
  • 3 years architect-engineer (A-E) services contracting experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain HSPD12 PIV and all necessary clearances.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and applicable federal procurement regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct acquisition planning and market research to support procurement strategies.
  • Prepare pre-solicitation documentation and assist in determining contract type, set-asides, and solicitation areas.
  • Draft and issue solicitations, Requests for Proposals/Quotes, and amendments; manage receipt and review of proposals.
  • Support technical evaluation panels and assist in source selection, best-value tradeoff evaluations, and negotiations.
  • Perform cost/price analysis and document source selection activities under Contracting Officer guidance.
  • Prepare and process contract awards and modifications for the Contracting Officer's signature and approval.
  • Perform contract administration functions, including maintaining electronic official contract files, resolving payment issues, reviewing payroll reports, and drafting correspondence.
  • Support contract closeout documentation and ensure compliance with all federal contracting standards.
