About The Position

The Contract Specialist Consultant II at Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) is responsible for providing contract policy support to NAVWAR, ensuring mission requirements are met through expert guidance in federal contracting. This role involves analyzing contracts, identifying risks and obligations, and serving as a contract advisor to NAVWAR office staff, while also completing contract closeout activities in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any technical, managerial, or business discipline or a related subject and relevant experience.
• Complete all mandatory training requirements per NAVWAR.
• DAWIA Contracting Level I or FAC-C Certification Level I or Industry equivalent (e.g., CPCM or CFCM).
• Active SECRET Security Clearance.
• Must be able to successfully pass any employment background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
• Valid state driver's license.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- and post-award contract actions.
• Use the Procurement Desktop Defense (PD2) contract writing system to draft contract actions.
• Prepare and present documents, reports, and presentations.
• Coordinate all activities associated with contract administration within the NAVWAR department.
