Electrify America is looking for an IT Solution Architect who will support the implementation of enterprise software systems and related projects across the organization by providing technical expertise, guidance and leadership to the broader implementation team comprised of subject matter experts, product managers and technical specialists. The selected candidate will be responsible for working with and external implementation team as well as the internal stakeholders to validate and further specify technical approaches, requirements integration interfaces required to implement an integrated ERP solution based on the IFS Cloud platform. The Contract Solution Architect Enterprise Software will report to the Enterprise Software Manager and will work directly with the Principal Solution Architect as a functional manager.

  • Review, understand and validate system designs, configuration and integrations proposed by the external implementation team
  • Under the guidance of Principal Solution Architect define and specify details of system interfaces to be used as integration points; define specific technical requirements and technical designs to solution implementation
  • Work closely with Product and Project managers to identify level of progress, quality and readiness of the implementation activities carried out by the external implementation team
  • Work with the internal software development team to ensure robust and reliable integration with Electrify America IoT systems
  • Act as a liaison and facilitator to understand business and product requirements and mapping them to the software system and module requirements and architecture of the end-to-end solution
  • Assist in implementing system configurations to acquire and sustain first-hand knowledge of as-built environment
  • Assist in user role and access configuration
  • Upon completion of the implementation project act as a technical owner for ongoing sustainment and evolution of the integrated ERP solution
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, CIS, or relevant degree or technical equivalent
  • Strong ability to develop and define technical approach and architecture implementing and integrating large scale ERP systems to achieve business goals and improve productivity
  • Ability to solve problems through digital technology and leveraging integrated software systems
  • Ability to clarify ambiguity to define requirements
  • Ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions
  • Ability to document and specify solution architecture, interfaces, information models and other parts of enterprise solution stack
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization
  • The ability to act as liaison conveying business needs to the technical team and technology constraints to the business
  • Ability to provide technical leadership and expertise to cross-functional teams
  • Skills to connect people, processes, and/or systems to achieve common goals
  • Knowledge of IT security principles, role-based security, authentication/authorization standards
  • Knowledge of software implementation methodologies and best practices
  • Relevant Enterprise/Software Architecture, Oracle DB and IFS, SAP ERP certifications are a plus
  • Experience with Oracle databases
  • Experience with information modelling including document and geospatial data
  • Experience with SAP integrations
  • Experience with Salesforce Integrations
