Join Siemens Healthineers as a Contract Services Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in forming stronger, clearer relationships with our customers through well-written long-term contracts. In this position, you will generate contracts based on approved quotes, ensuring adherence to previously negotiated Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) terms and conditions, as well as any value adds. Your responsibilities will include participating in negotiations of terms and conditions based on customer requests, involving the appropriate parties to protect Siemens' interests. You will validate Siemens contracts by matching them to the corresponding quotes, ensuring all documents are executed and signed at the appropriate levels before providing Siemens' second signature. Additionally, you will assess the enforceability of the revenue stream under contract and contribute to uploading executed contracts to the contract management database. As a Contract Services Specialist, you will also be responsible for training Sales and other stakeholders on contract terms and conditions, helping them understand the differences and impacts of various options on both Siemens and the customer. You will participate in various projects, including audits, assessments of contracts with different clauses, drafting language for promotions, and generating reports to reflect various circumstances. Your role will involve serving as a partner to Sales, educating and guiding them on how to structure deals that meet both customer and Siemens' needs, while being able to explain contract terms and conditions clearly. This position requires a paralegal degree or a BS/BA or higher degree in Finance/Business, along with 2-5+ years of relevant experience at Siemens Healthineers or in a similar role within the healthcare industry or a company selling capital equipment. Experience in the healthcare industry and/or legal/contract experience is desirable. You should be a skilled writer with an interest in the nuances of contracts and an awareness of the financial impact of contract language, or a willingness to learn. Familiarity with tools such as SAP, SHAREVILLE, Adobe, Word, and Excel is essential, or you should be willing and able to learn these tools. The position is hybrid, allowing for remote work most days with the requirement to work on-site one day a week or as needed, and candidates must live within a commutable distance to Malvern, PA, or Walpole, MA.
