About The Position

The primary responsibility of this position is to work as part of the Contract Services team in the daily production requirements for all functions of the department. Support the mission and vision of Concordia College and demonstrate the competencies as defined for this position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• ServSafe certificate or similar food safety course certificate, or pass ServSafe exam within the first year of employment.

• Previous food service or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Count and divide food items (salads, entrees and/or baked goods) for production and Contract Services customers.
• Follow food sanitation requirements as prescribed by county, state, and federal authorities.
• Obtain products from storage areas.
• Weigh or measure products according to recipes.
• Portion hot and cold food components.
• Package and label meals and products.
• Move products to proper storage or transportation area.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
• Assist in training and work with student employees, co-workers, and management in service to our customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
