About The Position

The Contract Service Manager (CSM) will serve at the Employer’s Customer’s site located in Mexicali-Tijuana, Mexico. This role is responsible for providing Project Management for the administration of a contract between the Employer and its Customer, ensuring that all contractual deliverables are met in accordance with quality, cost, and schedule requirements. The CSM will develop and implement strategies for project execution, manage internal and external communications, and ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and health & safety requirements. The position involves monitoring key performance indicators, managing project teams, and supporting financial activities related to the project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant industrial experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as IPT lead of large projects.
  • Experience with executing large projects in Mexico preferred.
  • 2+ years of commercial experience, Long Term Agreements (LTA), sales or tender execution.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and executing project plans according to quality, cost, and delivery specifications.
  • 5+ years of experience solving technical or organizational problems on cross-functional teams.
  • 5+ years of proven experience managing multiple technical Projects or Programs.
  • 5+ years of experience making sound judgments and decisions.
  • 5+ years of experience presenting technical topics to peers, higher management, and customers.
  • Proficient in computer applications relevant to operational management, including SAP and MS Office.
  • Bi-lingual; fluent in both English and Spanish.
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Contract Service Manager at Employer’s Customer’s site located in Mexicali-Tijuana, Mexico.
  • Provide Project Management for the administration of a contract between Employer and its Customer.
  • Develop and implement strategies for project execution to achieve performance and cost goals.
  • Provide adequate reporting to all stakeholders and manage internal and external communication.
  • Deliver allocated project scope from Hand Over from Sales until all obligations are complete.
  • Develop and secure onshore Suppliers and local assets necessary for project execution.
  • Monitor and report contractual key performance indicators (KPI) and take necessary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Address claims and inform Management of any impact on overall project performance.
  • Update and review risk assessments and opportunities of the Project.
  • Support development and monitor the Master Time Schedule.
  • Assist with the implementation of department and business projects.
  • Adhere to all contract service manager roles and responsibilities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by PSM Management.
