About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and mission-driven Senior Technical Recruiter(Contract) to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will own full-cycle recruiting for complex technical roles across Babylist, with a particular emphasis on Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI positions, in addition to core Engineering roles. You will partner closely with hiring managers, interviewers, and leadership to build diverse pipelines, deliver an exceptional candidate experience, and help scale teams that are critical to Babylist’s product and business growth. We are looking for someone who thrives on solving hard problems, operates with a strong bias for action, and consistently finds creative paths forward. You are resourceful, scrappy when needed, and have a track record of delivering results in fast-moving environments. You are a true builder who enjoys owning challenges end-to-end and doesn’t wait for perfect clarity to make progress.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience with a focus on full-stack engineering, product and design roles
  • Highly resourceful problem solver who thrives in ambiguity, proactively figures things out, and takes ownership to drive outcomes
  • Strong sense of urgency and a bias for execution—you move quickly and thoughtfully to get results
  • Experience sourcing, engaging, and closing technical talent at a variety of levels, including senior and specialized roles
  • Proven track record building diverse pipelines and utilizing inclusive sourcing strategies
  • Comfortable advising hiring managers on market trends, leveling, and candidate evaluation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to represent Babylist’s values and mission authentically to candidates
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive full-cycle technical recruiting for key roles across Babylist’s Engineering teams.
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to identify diverse, high-quality candidates.
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers, becoming a trusted advisor on hiring best practices and market insights.
  • Operate with a strong sense of urgency, proactively removing roadblocks and keeping searches moving forward.
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience that reflects Babylist’s values at every stage of the process.
  • Lead structured interview processes that reduce bias, drive consistency, and support fair, equitable hiring decisions.
  • Continuously improve recruiting processes, tools, and reporting to increase hiring efficiency and quality.
  • Contribute to talent projects including employer branding, interview training, DEI initiatives, and recruiting analytics.
