About The Position

Texas Health Huguley offers a flexible staffing alternative for RNs on a temporary basis for an assignment with a maximum duration of 13 weeks. Assignments may be extended per original assignment terms but cannot exceed 12 consecutive months total at any one location/facility. Requirements

• Registered Nurse License to practice in the state of Texas or a Compact Registered Nurse License from a NCLA Compact State.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Active BLS Certification.
• Active ACLS Certification.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities that are developmental and age specific for the population served.
• Promote and restore patients’ health by collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
• Complete the nursing process and the patients’ plans of care.
• Provide emotional, physical and spiritual support to the patients and their families.
• Supervise assigned team members.
• Deliver patient centered nursing care using the SHARE principles to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing physical, emotional and spiritual support to the patients and their families.
• Provide quality care by adhering to Standards of Practice, measuring health outcomes against patient centered goals.
• Utilize multidisciplinary team strategies to achieve quality outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with policies and procedures.
