About The Position

The Contract Resolution Specialist works closely with the Verifications Team and Dealer Relations Representatives (DRRs) to resolve funding issues on applications that are in-house for funding. This role is responsible for addressing discrepancies such as missing options, contract overages, and income changes. The specialist must manage and prioritize applications in both On-Hold and In-Queue status, while maintaining strong communication with dealerships through multiple channels. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; some Saturdays Location: On-site in West Valley City, UT In the Role Review and resolve Return to Credit (RTC) applications that are On-Hold each day. Identify and address discrepancies to prepare applications for funding approval. Communicate with dealerships via inbound/outbound calls to correct contract terms, negotiate fees, and resolve outstanding documentation issues. Build strong partnerships with internal business teams such as Product Support Managers, Verifications, and Underwriting. Update and correct application data in Bedrock to ensure funding readiness. Maintain detailed notes outlining identified issues, actions taken, and next steps. Review contract changes and evaluate risk implications tied to those changes. Recommend mitigation strategies, such as rate increases or additional fees when necessary. Utilize multiple channels (phone, text, email, DealerTrack, RouteOne) to engage with dealerships and support resolution. Collaborate with Dealer Relationship Managers (DRMs) and the Dealer Restructure team to align on resolution strategies. Conduct risk evaluations on deals to help minimize potential losses and ensure portfolio quality. Provide timely and professional responses to dealership inquiries and concerns. Deliver excellent customer service while demonstrating energy, urgency, and focus on goal achievement. Maintain a strong understanding of credit bureau reports and indirect lending products.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in auto finance, contract resolution, or related roles is preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in using internal systems like Bedrock and platforms such as DealerTrack and RouteOne.
  • Working knowledge of credit bureau reports and indirect lending practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
  • Comfortable collaborating across departments and with external dealership partners.
