About The Position

The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado is seeking a full-time contract renewable (non-tenure-track) Instructor. This position has a workload distribution of 80% teaching (4-4 teaching load), and 20% service. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate potential for teaching excellence in traditional and online settings, and participating in department, college, and community service activities.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Sociology, or a closely related field is preferred.
  • ABD (All But Dissertation) candidates will be considered if they can complete their degree by Fall 2026.
