About The Position

Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Contract Recruiter position. This position is a contract opportunity which is expected to be either on-site or Hybrid, within the Middletown, CT area. The duration of assignment will start at 3 months, but has the potential of extension or even future transition to direct. The Contract Recruiter will be responsible for managing full-cycle recruiting efforts across a variety of manufacturing and technical positions. This role requires close collaboration with hiring managers to clearly define role requirements, assess candidate qualifications, and ensure alignment throughout the hiring process. Key responsibilities include sourcing talent through a combination of external channels and internal databases, conducting initial candidate screenings, and coordinating interview schedules with hiring teams. The recruiter will play a critical role in driving efficiency while maintaining a high standard of candidate experience. This position supports a high-volume hiring initiative, managing approximately 20-40 open requisitions simultaneously. Success in this role will depend on the ability to effectively leverage recruiting tools and strategies, streamline the hiring lifecycle, and meet aggressive hiring timelines without compromising quality.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience , with a strong preference for senior-level capability
  • Proven ability to 'hit the ground running' in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Experience recruiting within manufacturing, industrial, or technical/skilled trades environments
  • Hands-on experience with Dayforce (required)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously (20+ roles)
  • Strong sourcing, screening, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Established recruiting networks and talent pipelines within relevant industries
  • Experience working in contract or project-based recruiting roles
  • Ability to quickly adapt to company processes while bringing best practices and insights
  • Initial video interview prescreening (Hinterview) preferred.
