About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support hiring across the organization, from early-career roles through senior leadership positions. This role will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a strong candidate experience while maintaining efficient and organized recruiting operations. The Recruiter will partner closely with the Director of HR and hiring managers to execute hiring priorities, manage candidate pipelines, and support key recruiting initiatives, including the company’s Residency Program. This is a part-time contract position averaging approximately 25 hours per week, with an hourly rate of up to $80 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

  • 7 years full-cycle recruitment experience.
  • 5+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, within an advertising, marketing, or digital media agency environment with experience hiring for client services, analytics, and marketing roles.
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle recruiting across multiple levels, including leadership roles
  • Strong sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
  • Experience working within an ATS (Greenhouse preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and leadership
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously in a fast-moving environment

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an excellent ambassador for January Digital, representing the company’s culture, values, and standards throughout the hiring process and ensuring every candidate interaction reflects the January Digital experience.
  • Own full-cycle recruitment for approved roles, from intake through offer
  • Recruit across multiple levels, including Coordinator, Manager, Director, and VP roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring strategies
  • Partner with senior stakeholders and executive-level leaders to define hiring needs, align on role scope, and guide recruitment strategy
  • Lead sourcing efforts across LinkedIn and other recruiting platforms to build strong candidate pipelines
  • Conduct recruiter screens and advance qualified candidates through the interview process
  • Facilitate offer discussions within approved compensation bands
  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality candidate experience from first outreach through final decision
  • Maintain consistent communication with hiring teams to confirm role openings, prepare interviewers, and align on interview process expectations and timelines
  • Manage interview logistics, scheduling, and panel coordination
  • Ensure interviewers are prepared with appropriate materials and context
  • Maintain recruiting workflows and candidate data within the ATS (Greenhouse)
  • Track candidate pipelines and maintain accurate documentation
  • Provide weekly hiring pipeline updates and status reports
  • Draft, refine, and maintain job descriptions in partnership with hiring managers to ensure role clarity, market alignment, and consistency across postings
  • Partner with the Director of HR and Executive team on weekly hiring priorities and workforce planning
  • Provide insights on candidate market trends, compensation expectations, and hiring challenges
  • Support execution of recruiting strategies aligned with company growth plans
  • Support recruitment and candidate management for the company’s Residency Program
  • Coordinate interviews and evaluation tracking for residency candidates
  • Assist with candidate communication and hiring logistics
  • Coordinate interview training logistics and distribute interviewer materials
  • Manage recruiting platforms and vendors (LinkedIn, Willo, Greenhouse and related tools)
  • Ensure recruiting tools and workflows are optimized for efficient hiring
