About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Contract Program Manager for the Department of Defense (DoD). The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of contract operational support functions involving multiple complex and interrelated program tasks that often require managing teams of contractor personnel at multiple locations. The role includes providing overall direction of program activities, managing contractor interface with senior levels of the customer’s organization, and consulting with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations. The candidate will coordinate with DHRA stakeholders such as IT Operations leads, System Owner technical and programmatic teams, and Government leadership to ensure alignment of activities and priorities. Additionally, the candidate will establish and maintain technical and administrative reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates, and oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • 12 years of experience, may have supervisory or management experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Clearance Requirement: Top Secret.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • CompTIA Security+.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Development Process: Manage and ensure cybersecurity projects are developed according to organizational priorities, objectives, and timelines.
  • Identify Cybersecurity Requirements: Work with stakeholders to identify, define, and document cyber-related project or program requirements.
  • Budget Oversight: Develop, analyze, and manage program budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources for cybersecurity-related functions.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Program Performance: Establish metrics to track program success and evaluate ongoing program performance.
  • Coordinate Across Teams: Lead efforts to communicate with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration.
  • Ensure Compliance and Risk Management: Oversee compliance with cybersecurity standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Leadership and Talent Management: Oversee program teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and direction.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Ensure clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the development of organizational cybersecurity policies and strategies.
  • Problem Solving and Issue Resolution: Anticipate and identify program risks, conflicts, or bottlenecks.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000.
  • Eligibility for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus.
