Contract Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) in Gallup, New Mexico
About The Position
PsyPhyCare is capable of providing a Contract Primary Care Physician to deliver comprehensive outpatient medical services in Gallup, New Mexico. Scope of Services: The Contract Physician shall: Provide routine and urgent primary care services to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Prescribe medications in accordance with applicable regulations Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing Provide preventive health services and patient education Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams Participate in quality improvement initiatives The Contract Physician shall: Provide routine and urgent primary care services to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Prescribe medications in accordance with applicable regulations Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing Provide preventive health services and patient education Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Completion of accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Board certified or board eligible
- Active, unrestricted state license
- Current DEA registration
- Current BLS certification
