About The Position

This person will shoot high-quality products and lifestyle photography of live plants, both in studio and on location as part of our in-house Creative Services team. They will deliver strong storytelling images through creative composition and thoughtful lighting. The optimal candidate will be optimistic and respectful as well as flexible, adaptable and resilient. Portfolio of photography work is required

Requirements

2 + years’ experience shooting studio product photography
Experience in studio lighting (strobes) & shaping natural light
Demonstrated ability to consistently capture unique and creative compositions that stand out and tell a visual story
Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
Proof of insurance in case of injury is required
Must own camera, lenses, tripod and camera batteries
Mid-level experience editing photos with a general knowledge of color correction
Independently manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities
Product/prop styling experience
Ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

Set up lighting equipment, including strobes, and shoot high-quality product shots in a studio setting.
Capture catalog-quality lifestyle shots on outdoor sets
Work directly with Photography Manager on set, light and shoot lifestyle images.
Name and organize files according to set standards
Help maintain clean studio/workstations daily
Other duties as assigned
