LOCATION G&H Torquay WORKING HOURS Normal working hours are 08:15 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 14:00 on Friday ROLE Reporting to the Sales & Operations Planning Manager, the role is responsible for managing and coordinating planning and procurement activities between G&H and two key contract manufacturing facilities responsible for the production of G&H fibre optic coupler products. This position supports and ensures an efficient, end to end planning process, from customer order receipt through to contract order fulfilment – while maintaining oversight of material requirements, inventory levels, and maintaining effective collaboration between internal stakeholders and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between G&H and contract manufacturing facilities for fibre optic coupler production ensuring effective communication
  • Plan and manage the full order flow from customer order receipt through to production scheduling and delivery
  • Ensure that the contract manufacturers material requirements are aligned with the customer orders and the production schedules
  • Monitor and manage contract manufacturer performance in relation to delivery, quality, and schedule adherence
  • Work closely with internal teams such as sales, operations, and supply chain to ensure customer demand Is met in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date order information within the ERP system, including scheduling customer orders and material orders, as well as raising PO’s on contract manufacturer
  • Support CI (Continuous Improvement) initiatives to enhance planning processes, communication, and operational efficiency
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks related to delivery schedules or material availability in a timely a manner
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with subcontract partners to promote and ensure long-term reliability
