About The Position

As a Contract Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day customer relationships and overall performance of the Contract Manufacturing customer base. This role serves as the primary liaison between Contract Manufacturing customers and internal cross-functional departments, including Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing, and Product Supply. The Manager will also lead key growth initiatives, manage customer projects, and ensure alignment with strategic plans while driving profitability and customer satisfaction. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Manage the daily customer relationship and act as the primary point of contact for customer buyers. Proactively sell and tailor the company proposition to meet specific customer needs. Develop and deliver the Customer Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and provide all business inputs into the strategic planning process. Ensure accuracy of the demand plan and close gaps in alignment with customer strategic objectives. Analyze customer data and business intelligence tools to identify performance improvement opportunities for both TreeHouse and the customer. Provide financial and strategic recommendations for Contract Manufacturing bids, proposals, and customer growth initiatives. Define and clearly communicate customer requirements and expectations across internal teams. Collaborate with internal resources to develop and deliver customer plans, utilizing cross-functional expertise. Coordinate the creation and entry of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) documentation to reflect customer expectations. Drive improvement initiatives aligned with customer scorecard metrics. Support customer initiatives by engaging internal leadership and securing necessary resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Business, or Finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain functions.
  • Broad exposure to multiple business disciplines such as manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, and R&D.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing unit operations and supply chain cost structures.
  • Experience in contract manufacturing development and commercial negotiations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and influence management skills.
  • Familiarity with new product commercialization and startup processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
  • Experience with SAP is strongly preferred.
