As a Contracts Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects by managing contractual obligations, mitigating risks, and fostering strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.
Lead the review, negotiation, and administration of contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, company policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
Identify and mitigate contractual risks, including liability, indemnities, warranties, and penalties.
Provide contractual guidance and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle, from bid preparation to project close-out.
Monitor contract performance, ensuring all parties fulfill their obligations and deliverables.
Manage change orders, claims, and variations, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
Identify and assess potential risks in contracts and propose mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with legal, finance, and project teams to address disputes and claims effectively.
Act as the primary point of contact for contractual matters with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
Prepare and present regular reports on contract status, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, tools, and templates for contract management.
Provide training and mentorship to project teams on contractual matters.
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering; Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in contract management, preferably in the energy, engineering, or construction industries.
Proven experience in managing complex contracts for large scale projects.
Strong knowledge of contract law, risk management, and commercial principles.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
