About The Position

The Contract Manager, in collaboration with the Director of Operations - Network Services, will support thedevelopment, implementation, and management of assigned contracted service area agreements and programs. As a member of the Healthcare Delivery Operations team, the Contract Manager collaborates with Clinical Operationsteam members and other stakeholders to develop, manage, and implement contract terms to improve quality ofcare. The day-to-day activities for this position include the development and enforcement of contractual terms,analyzing spend and services received according to contractual terms, evaluating and providing feedback in thedrafting of contracts, reviewing and validating invoices received from the contractor, communicating withcontractors and stakeholders regarding the contractual operations of the services provided, and addressing patientconcerns related to services provided by the contractor. The Contract Manager will analyze and report on thestatus, utilization, and issues related to each assigned contract. This position is Hybrid and is approved for work atboth an approved off-site location and onsite at a Central Health location based on business needs. Hybrid = Individuals in this position may work both at an approved off-site location and onsite at a primary location or multiple locations based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum Experience:
  • 1 years of related work experience with a Bachelor's degree, must have one year of progressively responsible experience in healthcare industry
  • 2 years experience conducting data analysis using appropriate calculations and developing reports on findings.
  • 3 years of experience developing, editing, implementing, and managing contract terms or other formal documents(e.g. grants, SOPs, policies).
  • With a high school diploma, must have 5 years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare industry
  • Demonstrated work experience managing clinical projects and/or clinical operations.

  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with the Director of Operations, the Clinical Operations team, the Legal team, and executiveleadership, in the development and day-to-day management of the Central Health Healthcare Delivery servicecontracts.
  • Responsible for understanding the workflows related to the contracts to ensure the contract contains allappropriate components.
  • Responsible for monitoring monthly spend against contract and provide leadership with updates regarding areas ofconcerns.
  • Ensures contracts are executed, renewed or terminated in a timely manner and according to contractualrequirements.
  • Reviews submitted reports and associated invoices to ensure they meet contract requirements.
  • Addresses concerns raised by patients by providing direction to the Patient Experience team and documentingresolution.
  • Develop effective communication methods and strategies to provide Central Health stakeholders with appropriatecontractual and financial updates.
  • Analyzes data to determine cost of services received by patients and Central Health's spend for services to ensureannual cost is within contractual limit and to make budgetary recommendations.
  • Serves as the point of contact and subject matter expert for assigned contracts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
