The Contract Manager will be responsible for negotiating, drafting, and managing complex lease agreements, real estate contracts, and construction contracts for a charging network infrastructure project, with a specific focus on aviation and airport/heliport related deployments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in contract negotiation
  • Proven track record in lease and real estate contract management
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate principles
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in contract management software
  • Contract drafting and review
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time, including internationally

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with FAA regulations
  • Legal background and/or Law degree
  • Financial modeling experience
  • Background in aviation infrastructure projects
  • Understanding of airport and/or heliport specific physical improvement requirements
  • Knowledge of electrical infrastructure development
  • Prior experience in charging network or renewable energy infrastructure

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and execute lease agreements for charging network site locations
  • Develop and manage lease option agreements or equivalent
  • Negotiate and execute comprehensive real estate and property access agreements
  • Negotiate construction related contractor and subcontractor contracts
  • Manage contract lifecycle from initial negotiation to final execution
  • Conduct legal and financial risk assessments for proposed agreements
  • Coordinate with internal teams (legal, engineering, operations) to ensure contract success
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Identify potential risks and challenges in project delivery and develop risk mitigation strategies
  • Representing BETA with external stakeholders in person and remote to ensure customer satisfaction and projects success
