Requirements

  • Contracts negotiation, analyst, or management experiences.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Top Secret Clearance required prior to start.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with FAR/DFARS based contracts, including cost type and fixed price arrangements.
  • TS-SCI desired.
  • NCMA and/or IACCM certification highly desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with our customer(s) representing contracts or program issues professionally and clearly.
  • Demonstrated experience with briefing senior leadership on program status and contractual issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to support and achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration.
  • Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance.
  • Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives.
  • Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance.
  • Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions.
  • Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies.
  • Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.
  • May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company.
  • Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.
