About The Position

As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. The Warehouse Team Lead reports to a Manager, and has general responsibility for coordinating and supervising daily logistics activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of their assigned area. Located in Casa Grande, AZ

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
1 year in a lead or supervisory role
Establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks
Basic technical and math skills

Responsibilities

Coordinate the unloading of inbound shipments and oversee the process
Verify required paperwork with drivers, ensuring all product is counted and damage free
Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment
Verify work schedules are correctly assigned and implemented
Maintain product locator system
Rotate and consolidate product to improve space throughout warehouse
Complete all necessary records and reports
Be a site subject matter expert for Dangerous Goods questions and issues
