Responsibilities

  • Assists customers with paperwork and answers questions regarding court forms.
  • Receives and processes incoming correspondence via email, mail, and in-person filings.
  • Directs customers to appropriate services such as legal clinics and self-help information.
  • Maintains case documentation, including updating contact information and processing bond forfeitures.
  • Transfers information from law enforcement tickets into the case management system.
  • Manages scheduling for time-sensitive cases, such as protection orders.
  • Ensures court-scheduled events and review dates are entered in every case.
  • Accepts and processes payments for court fines, fees, and bonds.
  • Reconciles cash drawer and prepares daily deposits.
  • Responds to customer inquiries via phone, email, and voicemail.
  • Acts as a liaison between division/Judicial Officer and customers, de-escalating stressful situations.
  • Issues orders and notices from the court regarding case deadlines and filings.
  • Completes required trainings and attends meetings as requested.
