About The Position
In this position you will be responsible for providing animal welfare and support to contract growers. Will learn to care for the birds, identify underlying issues, complete bird testing in accordance with FDA regulations.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
- Good understanding of animal welfare and maintaining Herbruck’s standard care.
- Reliable vehicle.
- Good Communication skills.
- Does not own or maintain regular contact with avian species, swine, cattle or egg processing.
Responsibilities
- Assist delivering supplies to contract farms.
- Disinfection of barns
- Blood sampling and Swabs
- Monitor Farm Data
- Reviewing On-site Paperwork
- Monitor Vaccination deliveries and inventory
- Perform daily / weekly activities for the position at a basic level.
- Additional duties as assigned.
