About The Position
We are seeking a Contract Dietitian to support nutrition services at our foster care facility. This role is responsible for menu planning, recipe creation and modification, procurement support, and coordinating meal distribution, while ensuring full compliance with National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP) guidelines. This position will be paid at a rate of $40/hour for a maximum of 15 hours per MONTH.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) preferred
- Knowledge of NSLP/SBP guidelines required
- Experience in institutional, school, or residential food service a plus
- Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain compliant menus aligned with NSLP/SBP requirements
- Develop, modify, and standardize recipes to meet nutrition standards
- Support food procurement and inventory planning
- Coordinate meal distribution and ensure smooth service operations
- Ensure nutrition documentation is accurate and up to date
