About The Position

The Contract Compliance Administrator (Recycling Division) is responsible for managing company agreements, contracts, insurance certifications, UCC filings, baler equipment, equipment leases, and other compliance related issues. You will also be held responsible for liaising negotiations between the company, Pratt Corporate and its business partners, ensuring that the prompt document closure for all areas is compliant and complete. Contract Compliance Administration entails oversight on all legal documentation signed by the business unit to ensure that each stipulation and annex is within the acceptable bounds of the law and is duly followed by internal and external clients. The CCA will monitor the performance and efficiency of contracts, agreement, and equipment usage with suppliers. The CCA works as part of the Accounting department, upholding the internal policies and processes regarding contract management and use by examining the viability of each contract and making the necessary recommendations for revision as best indicated for efficiency and productivity metrics. The CCA is responsible for managing client-specific contracts and provide counsel for maintaining the quality of contracts within the unit. As a CCA you must review and provide oversight for all existing contracts by inspecting the contract database and provide technical services in developing a standard and appropriate use of language for each document. The CCA should possess the skill to effectively work in coordination with managers within all organizational hierarchy to analyze sourcing and contracts strategies. The CCA should be able to eye new trends and make the recommendations for beneficial sourcing and procedure. Working as a CCA requires a degree of customer support skill, ensuring internal and external client relations are running smoothly when it comes to contract drafts and negotiation. Good decision making skills are critical in resolving conflict or infringements that arise from existing contracts in the business unit. CCA is expected to be an outstanding leader in the field of contracts administration.

Requirements

  • Strong, demonstrated experience in contract administration
  • Proficiency using MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and SAP
  • Ability to coordinate with teams while needing little supervision or direction
  • Capable working on multiple projects with varying deadlines
  • Professional demeanor and clear communication skills
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Limited Travel required.
  • Professional Attitude & conduct to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times.
  • Multi-task, interpersonal communication, problem solving, and time management skills are needed.
  • High degree of safety awareness and safety discipline

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring internal and external client relations are running smoothly when it comes to contract drafts and negotiation.
  • Good decision making skills are critical in resolving conflict or infringements that arise from existing contracts in the business unit.
  • Review and advise Controller of unusual or out of scope items/issues.
  • Follow up to ensure we get a final copy with both signatures before filing electronically.
  • Capex processing and recording.
  • Liaison with corporate purchasing to coordinate the paperwork and obtaining proper approvals.
  • Asset tracking for all Division assets.
  • Conduct random audits at each plant to ensure company assets are present.
  • Liaison for Insurance requests/requirements.
  • Track and record baler movement to/from fiber suppliers.
  • Record appropriate UCC filing with each jurisdiction as needed.
  • Follow all company policies per Employee Handbook & Code of Conduct.
  • Follow all company safety guidelines.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
