We are seeking a Contract Business Systems Analyst / Demand Manager to manage active demand intake, qualification, and prioritization across various business and technology teams. The focus will be on maintaining momentum, enhancing clarity at the outset, and ensuring that work is well-defined before execution. The selected contractor will operate hands-on within established demand processes and tools, collaborating closely with business owners, delivery teams, and the PMO. This role is heavily execution-focused and outcomes-driven.

  • Manage incoming demands from submission through to qualification and approval.
  • Collaborate with business owners to clarify scope, objectives, success metrics, and constraints.
  • Ensure demands are complete, actionable, and ready for estimation and prioritization.
  • Identify and resolve missing information, risks, or dependencies.
  • Support demand scoring, tiering, and sequencing using predefined criteria.
  • Partner with the PMO, resource managers, and delivery leads to align priority and capacity.
  • Track demand aging and follow up to prevent bottlenecks.
  • Maintain transparency across approved, queued, and in-progress work.
  • Document business requirements, problem statements, and high-level solution needs.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to validate feasibility and level-of-effort estimates.
  • Identify cross-system, cross-team, and customer experience impacts.
  • Support the transition from demand to delivery with clean handoffs.
  • Facilitate intake reviews, clarification sessions, and working meetings.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination across business, technology, CX, and operations.
  • Escalate risks, gaps, or decision needs to leadership as required.
  • Support project kickoffs by ensuring a shared understanding of scope and intent.
  • Provide regular updates on demand status, throughput, and blockers.
  • Support continuous improvement of demand management processes and tools.
  • Help enforce intake standards and governance guardrails.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, or Demand Manager.
  • Proven experience managing high-volume demand intake and prioritization.
  • Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
  • Experience working across business and technical teams.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow Demand, PPM, or similar workflow tools.
  • Experience with enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Experience with CX, operations, or platform-centric programs.
