About The Position
The 1099-Contract Investigator is responsible for conducting federal background investigations to support national security and suitability investigations. This role involves fieldwork, including interviews and record retrieval, to produce reports of investigations (ROIs) while adhering to federal standards and regulations. The investigator will also be required to travel within their geographic area and may have opportunities for temporary assignments outside of this area.
