The Stevens Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) serves the University's central business function of providing pre-award and non-financial post-award research administration services to the research community. The Contract and Grant Specialist for OSP reports to the Director, Proposals and Award Management. This position offers the option to work remotely full-time or hybrid. In this role, the Contract and Grant Specialist provides the following services: Works with researchers and departments to develop and review budget and administrative proposal documents in accordance with Federal, sponsor, and institutional policies and requirements. Tracks and ensures timely submission of proposals. Maintains proposal data and auditable records for proposal submissions. Works with researchers to submit post-proposal actions at the request of sponsors to include JIT, budget revision, change in scope and other requirements. Provides subject matter expertise in sponsored projects in accordance with 2 CFR 200 Uniform Guidance and/or other sponsor requirements. Monitors regulatory mandates governing sponsored programs and develops informational guidelines to advise the community. Maintains auditable records of proposal administrative activities in accordance with sponsor and University records retention policies. Provides formal and informal training on sponsored research administration to the research community.
