About The Position

Contract and Data Analyst (Managed Care) Pride Health is seeking a Contract and Data Analyst (Managed Care) for one of its clients in Oklahoma. This is for a direct hire position with competitive pay and benefits. This is a 100% Onsite role. Title - Contract and Data AnalystLocation – Tulsa, Oklahoma (74136) Pay range - $68K - $98K per year.Length of assignment – Direct hireShift – Mon - Fri / 8 am - 5 pm Job Summary The Contract Analyst is responsible for analyzing healthcare contracts and supporting contract negotiations by monitoring, reviewing, and ensuring payment compliance. This role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve contract issues, contribute to negotiation strategies, and maximize reimbursement outcomes. The analyst develops and maintains Epic-based contract projection models essential to successful physician and hospital contract negotiations across the health system. Additional Information: Seeking a Contract Data Analyst with 3–4 years of experience in managed care, health plan contracting, and provider reimbursement. Strong analytical skills required, including contract modeling and financial analysis. Must be able to obtain and maintain EPIC certification. Prior experience in a health system, clinic, or surgery center is required. Familiarity with EHR systems is required; Power BI experience is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of related experience in healthcare contracting or reimbursement analysis.
  • Experience with health plan insurance contracting and provider/facility reimbursement.
  • Ability to complete and maintain Epic certification in assigned application modules.
  • Strong analytical skills to solve complex business and technical problems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple disciplines.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power BI, and Access.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Access and data warehouse applications.
  • Background in contract negotiations, financial modeling, and contract language interpretation.
  • Epic experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze managed care contracts and communicate operational and financial impacts to appropriate health system stakeholders.
  • Develop financial models, perform analyses, and monitor the performance of existing and proposed contracts.
  • Audit contract financials to ensure compliance and expected performance; negotiate with payors to recover underpayments when applicable.
  • Review, interpret, and negotiate contract language throughout the contracting lifecycle.
  • Develop, produce, and maintain datasets required for contract analysis and reporting.
  • Establish and maintain departmental processes for effective contract management.
  • Resolve contractual disputes by collaborating with internal departments, payors, and other related parties.
  • Analyze, develop, test, and maintain contract projection models within Epic for physician and hospital reimbursement.
  • Build and maintain Epic programming to ensure financial integrity and alignment with managed care contract expectations.
  • Resolve Epic programming issues related to rates and revenue codes to optimize reimbursement outcomes.
  • Conduct Epic testing to validate contract builds and collaborate with the Epic team to move models into production and enhance system functionality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental objectives.
